PROJECT OVERVIEW.
Miansai makes jewellery that's meant to be worn every day, not saved for occasions. The brief for this concept project was built around that idea, creating visuals that felt less like product photography and more like documentation of something already worn in.
The aesthetic direction moves away from Miansai's existing warm, coastal palette toward something cooler and more considered. Deep olive studio environments, directional single-source lighting, textured natural surfaces, weathered teak, raw concrete, smooth stone, and models whose presence feels unconstructed rather than performed. Every creative decision was made to close the gap between the jewellery and the person wearing it.
The goal was to show what Miansai could look like with a sharper visual identity and to demonstrate what Studio Coined brings to a brief like this.

Consistency & detail
Consistency is treated as a core design constraint, not an afterthought.
From facial structure to fabric texture and lighting behavior, every frame is built to belong to the same visual system.
This allows the visuals to move confidently between full looks and close-up details without breaking cohesion.
